E-Sports at D.S. Parrott Middle School provides students with an exciting opportunity to connect, compete, and build valuable skills in a team-based environment. Through e-sports, students develop communication, collaboration, strategic thinking, problem-solving, and perseverance while working toward a common goal. It also gives students who may not participate in traditional athletics a chance to belong to a team, build friendships, and experience the pride that comes with representing their school. Beyond competition, e-sports encourages students to practice sportsmanship, responsibility, and digital citizenship while helping them discover interests and skills that can support future opportunities in technology, gaming, media, and other career pathways.
