At D.S. Parrott Middle School, Leader in Me is more than a program—it is a mindset that helps our students discover their strengths, build confidence, and understand that they have the ability to lead. Through the 7 Habits, students learn important skills such as responsibility, goal-setting, teamwork, communication, problem-solving, and making positive choices. These lessons extend beyond the classroom, helping students become more independent, resilient, and prepared to navigate the challenges of high school, future careers, and life. We believe that every student has the potential to be a leader, and our goal is to give them the tools, confidence, and opportunities to use their voice, make a difference, and become successful leaders in whatever path their future takes.
